ISLAMABAD: For the first time in nearly twenty years, hijab options and a tunic for women’s uniforms have been unveiled by British Airways.

Ozwald Boateng, a British fashion designer, has created the collection, which also includes jumpsuits, trousers, dresses, and skirts as options for women. While for men the uniform is a three-piece suit.

New uniform options of British Airways to be worn from spring

These uniforms will be worn from spring this year. The airline’s employees who will be donning these uniforms are around 30,000 employees including pilots, cabin crew, engineers, and check-in agents.

Sean Doyle, British Airways’ chief executor officer, said the uniform of the company is an “iconic representation” of the brand that projects a vision of the future while highlighting modern Britain’s “very best”.

Doyle added that these values help the company deliver “Britain’s original service” to the customers.
