RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday said that the three major political parties had failed to deliver and lacked any solution to the current problems and issues of the people.
Abbasi further said none of the political parties had talked regarding the people’s problem with just two weeks remaining before the elections. “You won’t get anything if remain in search of government,” he remarked and criticized the practice calling each other thief. He said that he will take decision about his politics after elections.

At the same time, the former PM described the May 9 events as tragedy and said, gangs had attacked defense installations. He expressed regret the fact that no action had taken against those involved in the violence despite the passage of around 9 months, as he expressed his views with media persons in Rawalpindi.
Abbasi said that every person understands that there is always some deal and “respect the vote” is a narrative based upon the constitution.
Abbasi claimed that every election had been stolen in Pakistan since 1947 and said that resorting to pressure tactics during electioneering would damage both the country and people. Abbasi added there was still time to make the elections undisputed and the caretaker PM, the chief justice of Pakistan and the Election Commission of Pakistan should act to achieve the aim.
