Four Children Among Five Killed in Two Gas Explosions in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD/QUETTA: At least four children were killed in two explosions triggered by gas leakage in Balochistan’s provincial capital Quetta on Wednesday.

Two women also sustained burn wounds in the incident that took place in Badezai Town of Kharotabad in Balochistan. 

According to Quetta police, the wounded women were moved to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for treatment.

In another incident in Bolan Town of Quetta’s Sariab area, Sub-Inspector Shabbir Hussain Gujjar of Police Station Shalkot was killed in a gas explosion.  

Earlier on Tuesday, four people suffocated to death in the Jaan Mohammad Road area of Quetta.

The incident occurred owing to a gas leakage that filled the room where four people were sleeping.
