MARDAN: Five people including a woman and four children were shot dead when unknown armed men opened fire at them inside their house in Bakhsali tehsil of district Mardan here on Tuesday.
According to local media, deceased persons belonged to the same family.
“The dead bodies have been shifted to DHQ hospital Mardan”, rescue official said. Police has cordoned off the crime scene and collected evidences.
The motive behind the firing was not immediately established.
