ISLAMABAD: In a tragic incident, as many as four people were killed while one other got injured due to the collapsing of a house roof on Wednesday morning in Sargodha city of Punjab.
The local police reported that the mother, father, and two daughters could not sustain the injuries and lost their lives on the spot. Their bodies and one injured family members, who is not identified yet, were recovered from debris.
According to local media, the house roof collapsed in Sarghoda’s area of Syedwala. The rescue teams rushed to the spot after getting information about the tragic incident and recovered bodies from the debris.
The district administration and senior police officers also reached the site and launched the rescue operation. The house was very old but still the reasons of its collapse were unknown so far. The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. —APP
