Four Killed, Several Injured as Blast Hits PTI Electoral Rally in Balochistan

QEUTTA: An explosion targeted a rally of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Balochistan that killed at least four persons believed to be political workers.

The incident occurred on Jinnah Road in Sibbi district of the province during the PTI rally on Tuesday, leaving several others wounded.

Confirming the blast, the police reported that the injured and dead bodies are being transferred to the District Hospital, where a state of emergency has been declared.

The Health Department has issued immediate instructions for all doctors and medical staff to be on duty at major hospitals in Quetta.

PTI Condemns the Attack:

Alam Khan Kakar, PTI’s Provincial Additional General Secretary, strongly condemned the assault on the electoral rally.

Expressing severe disapproval, Kakar particularly emphasized the condemnation of the attack on the rally featuring Saddam Tareen, a PTI candidate for the National Assembly in Sibi. Kakar stated that the incident reflects the government’s failure in restoring peace and security.
