ISLAMABAD: A free medical camp for diabetes screening and awareness was held at The Diabetes Centre (TDC) Islamabad on Friday.
The camp aimed to provide awareness to the local people to reduce the increased risks of diabetes. A large number of people got themselves checked up at the free medical camp.
Insulin and glucose were also distributed.
For Type-1, insulin and glucose were also distributed free to needy persons. Dr Farah Faizan Farooqui and Dr Adil highlighted the causes of diabetes to those who attended the camp.They also educated them on how to avoid its complications. The people who got their free screening appreciated the preventive measures commenced by TDC hospital against this menace.
