RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayer of martyred soldier Shabbir Baloch has offered in his home town, the military’s media wing said on Wednesday. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on 29 July, a violent mob in garb of so-called Baloch Raji Muchi assaulted Security Forces’ personnel employed for security duties in Gwadar district. It added that resultantly, Sepoy Shabbir Baloch (Age: 30 years; resident of district Nasirabad), embraced shahadat. He was performing his duty in Gwadar to defend the motherland. A large number of people including relatives of the martyred soldier, military and civil officials attended the funeral prayer.
Local people strongly condemned anti-state elements and demanded that the state to take strict actions against the culprits. They asked the authorities to take measures to bring the culprits into justice.
