Funeral Prayers of Martyred Pakistan Army Personnel Offered: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayers of Major Mian Abdullah Shah, Naib Subedar Sahib Khan, Naik Muhammad Ibrahim, and Sepoy Jehangir Khan of the Pakistan Army were offered in their respective native towns on Thursday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

The martyred military officers were laid to rest with full military honors following the offering of funeral prayers. Naib Subedar Sahib Khan, Naik Muhammad Ibrahim, and Sepoy Jehangir Khan embraced martyrdom in a suicide attack near Miran Shah in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. While, Major Mian Abdullah Shah lost his life during an operation in Shahkas area of Khyber district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as stated by the ISPR.

The funeral prayers were attended by serving and retired officers and soldiers, as well as relatives and a large number of people from different segments of society, according to the ISPR.

The ISPR reaffirmed that the Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their determination to eliminate the menace of terrorism at all costs. These sacrifices further strengthen the resolve and faith of the nation in the ongoing fight against terrorism, as Pakistan strives to provide a peaceful future for its generations to come, the ISPR maintained.
