Funeral Prayers of Martyred Soldiers Offered: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers of the two soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom during intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier today, were offered.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), senior officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army, local people and police officials participated in the funeral prayers of the martyrs.

The ISPR added that the bodies of the martyred have been taken to their native home towns where they will be laid to rest with full military honour.

“These sacrifices of our martyrs strengthen our determination in the war against terrorism and our love for motherland,” read the ISPR statement.

The war against terrorism will continue until the end of the last terrorist, added ISPR.

According to ISPR, Lance Havildar Mudassar Mehmood (age-36 yrs; resident of district Rawalpindi) and Lance Naik Haseeb Javed (age-27 yrs; resident of district Poonch, Azad Jammu and Kashmir), having fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat in IBO operation in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
