Funeral Prayers of Pakistan Army’s Martyred Soldiers Offered in Peshawar

RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers of the Pakistan Army’s four soldiers, who embraced martyrdom while fighting gallantly during an operation against terrorists, were offered in Peshawar Garrison.

The martyred soldiers included Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (age 43 years, resident of Islamabad), Naik Khushdil Khan (age 31 years, resident of Lakki Marwat district), Naik Rafique Khan (age 27 years, resident of Charsadda district) and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (age 33 years, resident of Murree district).

These brave soldiers embraced Shahadat while fighting gallantly against terrorists in an Intelligence Based Operation in the Tirah area of Khyber district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

The martyred soldiers will be laid to rest with full military honours in their respective hometowns.

Corps Commander Peshawar, and a large number of serving officers and jawans, civil officials, and the general public attended the funeral.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces stand resolute and committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country at all costs.
