A spinoff starring Jon Snow is in the making, and Liam Cunningham or Ser Davos wants to retake his role.
During a chat, the Irish actor revealed with Den of Geek that he reached out to Kit Harrington, “I did send a text saying, ‘Better Call Davos,” referring to AMC’s hit show Better Call, Saul.
“I haven’t heard anything back,” Cunningham admitted. “You probably know more than I do. I wish them the best to whoever’s involved in it, and if the check is big enough, I might even show up again!”
Ser Davos Seaworth, a character played by Cunningham in the top-rated Game of Thrones, was one of the 37 characters to survive the notoriously violent series. Harrington received the lead role in the 2022 sequel to Jon Snow. Later, George R. R. Martin added his confirmation to the news in a blog post where he shared the show’s name, Snow. The series status hasn’t been formally disclosed, the author added.
