ISLAMABAD : At least four children lost their lives in a gas cylinder blast near Chowk Baba e Azam from Ichra Lahore city Friday morning.
According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred around 6 AM in a house where all family members were present in a room, using a heater connected to a cylinder. The resulting blast resulted in the tragic deaths of four children and injuries to other family members, as per a report from a private news channel.
The house suffered extensive damage and caught fire due to the powerful explosion, which also blew off the roof. The blast and subsequent fire are believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder leakage, according to statements from neighbors. Police and rescue workers were on the scene, transporting the victims to a nearby hospital. — APP
