GAZA CITY: The death toll of Palestinians because of the ongoing Israeli bombardment in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 11,320 people, the state media office said on Tuesday.
The office said in a statement that those killed also include 4,650 children and 3,145 women, while 29,200 others are wounded.
According to the statement, 3,600 other people are missing including 1,755 children.
It added that 198 medics, 22 civil defense personnel and 51 journalists were also killed in the Israeli strikes.
The statement said that the Israeli bombardment has put 25 hospitals and 52 health care facilities out of service, while 55 ambulances were targeted by Israeli forces.
40 patients died in Al-Shifa Hospital
The media office went on to say that due to Israeli siege and fuel shortage in Gaza, 40 patients died in Al-Shifa Hospital in besieged enclave in the past five days.
It said that 82 people were buried in a mass grave inside the medical complex because of the Israeli occupied forces who are still completely besieging the hospital.

Israel has started relentless air and ground assaults on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7.
Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, have been destroyed in the Israeli strikes.
