GCC Calls for Restraint to Ensure Regional Stability

RIYADH: The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi emphasized the critical importance of maintaining both regional and global security and stability amid recent developments in the Middle East, reported Saudi Press Agency on Sunday.

In a statement issued today, he called upon all involved parties to exercise maximum self-restraint to prevent any further escalation that could endanger regional stability and civilian well-being.

Albudaiwi emphasized the necessity of collaborative efforts and diplomatic solutions to address disputes and uphold regional security.

He underscored the pivotal role of the international community in supporting these endeavors and highlighted the potential ramifications of further escalation.
