RIYADH: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation forces for the brutal bombing of UNRWA’s Al-Fakhoora School in Gaza, calling this aggressive act that targeted innocent people in Palestine a clear violation of global and humanitarian laws and agreements that goes against all humanitarian and moral values, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
According to the SPA, the GCC chief reiterated his denunciation of the systematic targeting of innocent people, and called for an urgent ceasefire, emphasizing the need to ensure the safety of civilians, humanitarian workers and relief facilities.

He also called for the execution of relevant global resolutions and global accountability mechanisms to these current violations and hold their committers accountable.
Albudaiwi stressed the pledge of the GCC nations to support all global efforts to achieve peace and justice, reaffirmed that they stand by the Palestinian people’s legitimate demands, and asked the global community to take immediate step to put an end to these aggressive actions to stop further escalation that threatens regional and global stability.
