RIYADH: Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Wednesday discussed means to enhance cooperation and collaboration among the member countries. They made the discussion during a session of the preparatory ministerial council for upcoming session of the Supreme Council of the GCC in Riyadh. Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan has also attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Badr Albusaidi at Gulf Cooperation Council Secretariat in the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The meeting discussed means to enhance cooperation and collaboration among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The meeting also exchanged views on the development and progress in the region.
The ministers also discussed recent global and regional developments. They also exchanged views on Chinese-Gulf Summit during the meeting. It may be recalled that China’s President Xi Jinping will also attend the summit. Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. Secretary General Gulf Cooperation Council Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf also attended the meeting.
