RIYADH: Secretary-General, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi has met with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly and discussed bilateral relations and ways to bolster them in various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
During the meeting at the GCC Secretariat General in Riyadh, they stressed the importance of solidifying strategic dialogue within the endeavor to build partnerships in various domains.
They followed up on developments regarding the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides in 2016 and the joint action plan for strategic dialogue and cooperation in the political, security, health, education, and energy areas.
They also exchanged views on key regional and global issues of mutual concern.
