BERLIN: Germany will drastically reduce Russia’s diplomatic presence on its soil after Moscow slashed the number of people Berlin can have in its embassies and institutions in Russia, a foreign ministry spokesman announced on Wednesday.
The spokesperson told a press briefing that Germany had decided to end consent for the operation of four of the five consulates of Russia operating in Germany.
He added that the decision was communicated to the Russian foreign ministry today (Wednesday), AFP reported.
