DUBAI: US Dutch Palestinian model Gigi Hadid this week spent time in Seoul to launch her fashion brand Guest in Residence at an event in the city, while her sister Bella Hadid was in Dubai for the opening of Chopard’s new boutique in Dubai Mall.
In Seoul, Gigi Hadid launched her luxury cashmere brand, Guest in Residence, in the city’s popular Gangnam district. The brand’s showcase, which will run through November 24, brought a mix of fashion and music personalities to celebrate.
Gigi looked effortlessly stylish in her own design—a “Grizzly Coat” in a warm brown cashmere—paired with straight-leg jeans, black loafers, and a delicate gold necklace. She completed the look with a sleek bob, winged eyeliner, and a soft mauve lip.
On Instagram, Gigi shared glimpses of her time in Seoul, including a star-studded dinner she hosted for notable figures like K-pop star CL, leader of the group 2NE1. Other celebrity guests included members of K-pop sensation NewJeans—Hanni, Danielle, and Minji—as well as “Squid Game” star Jung Ho-yeon and Korean-American rapper Jay Park.
Meanwhile, Bella Hadid took Dubai by storm as she attended the grand opening of Chopard’s new boutique in Dubai Mall. Bella joined Chopard’s creative director Caroline Scheufele for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and spent time meeting with industry insiders and clients.
Bella’s Dubai visit included an appearance at an exclusive after-party held at Jaipur Rugs in Alserkal Avenue, where she wowed the crowd in an Elie Saab Haute Couture gown from the Fall/Winter 2004 collection—a shimmering gold creation that perfectly matched the evening’s elegant setting. Beauty mogul Huda Kattan was among the attendees, posing for a photo with Bella and Scheufele.
Named as the global ambassador for Chopard in September, Bella has since been frequently seen wearing the Swiss luxury jewelry house’s creations, including multiple red-carpet appearances.
She first made her association with Chopard known at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and has since incorporated their pieces into her fashion-forward appearances, including the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
Beyond her partnership with Chopard, Bella has recently ventured into the beauty industry, launching her fragrance brand, Orabella, which debuted in May and has gained a strong following.
