Gilgit Baltistan Extends STEAM Education Initiative for Another Year

GILGIT: The Government of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) has extended the successful ‘STEAM, Entrepreneurship, and Computer Education’ project for another year to benefit 200 additional schools.

The project, known for its transformative impact on education and innovation, will continue in its mission to empower Gilgit Baltistan’s students with essential skills for the future.

To ensure the continuation of the project, the Gilgit Baltistan Rural Support Program (GBRSP officially renewed the agreement with the Rupani Foundation.

The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including the Minister of Education for Gilgit Baltistan, Chief Secretary Muhiudeen Wani, and the Secretary of Education.

Youth Empowerment in Gilgit Baltistan

Gilgit Baltistan’s Chief Secretary, speaking to the media during the event, stated, “The project extension underscores the government’s dedication to cultivating a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among the youth of Gilgit Baltistan.”

The projects equipped students with important skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM), and entrepreneurship; this initiative not only molds future leaders but also contributes to the socio-economic development of the region.
