Gold Price in International Market

Unlike the local market, the price of gold in the international market went up by $7 per ounce to settle at $1,892 from its last-day price of $1,885. Despite an increase in the international market, rates of the precious metal in Pakistan went down. Bullion experts attribute the decrease in price to the appreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the dollar and other international currencies.
