Gold Price Decreases by Rs 1,100 to Close at Rs221,700 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: The per tola rate of 24 karats of gold went down on Monday by Rs 1,100 and was available in the market at Rs.221,700 against its previous day sale at Rs 222,800.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold witnessed the same downward treatment and decreased by Rs.943 to settle at Rs.190, 072 from its last day sale at Rs. 191,016 whereas the price of 10 gram of 22 Karats of the precious metal went down to Rs. 174,233 from Rs174,076 the previous day.

However, the price per tola and ten grams of the white plate (silver) observed no change and settled at Rs 2750 and Rs 2357.68, respectively.

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local market, the rate of the yellow plate in the international market went down by $2 to settle at $1,940 per ounce from its last-day sale of $1,942. The previous day the price in the local market went up despite its decrease in the international market.
