ISLAMABAD: After reaching an all-time high last day in the international market, the price of gold witnessed a slight decline affecting the local market as well on Tuesday, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold witnessed a decrease of
Rs500 to settle at Rs237,100 on Tuesday as compared to its Rs237,600 on Monday
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold went down by Rs429 and was sold at Rs203,275 against the last day sale price of Rs203,704 and 10 grams 22 karats of gold also went down to Rs186,335 from the last day price of Rs186,728.
The rates for the per tola and ten-gram silver witnessed no change and settled at Rs.2,600 and Rs.2,211.93 respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Like the local bullion market, the gold price in the international market recorded a minor decline by $5 to settle at 2,273 from the last day price of $2,278, per ounce.
During the last couple of days, the yellow metal in the international market observed a sharp increase that affected most of the bullion markets in the world. After this mega increase, its price increased by more than $150 per ounce during the last two weeks. The Price of the precious metal in the local bullion market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.
