ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karat gold appreciated by Rs2,200 on Thursday and was traded at Rs207,200 as compared to Rs205,000 on Wednesday.
The price of 10 gm of 24 karat gold also went up by Rs1,887 to Rs177,641 as compared to Rs175,754 on Wednesday, while that of 10 gm of 22 karat increased to Rs162,837 from Rs161,108, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of one tola silver increased by Rs50 and was trading at Rs2,300, whereas that of 10-gram silver went up by Rs42.88 to Rs1,971.88.
Gold Price in the International Market
The gold price in the international market also increased by US$31 to US$1,955, the Association reported. In recent days experienced a continuous increase in gold prices at the international level affecting the local gold market as well.
