Gold Price Per Tola Declines Rs200 in Pakistan

KARACHI: After hitting record highs in the last session, gold prices in Pakistan has declined today in line with the decrease in the international rate. Gold price per tola stood at Rs260,000 following it reduced by Rs200 in the local market.

The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs222,908 following it registered a decline of Rs172, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) said. On Saturday, gold price clocked in at Rs260,200 following it rose by Rs2,500.

The global rate of gold dipped lower on Monday. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association said that the rate was at $2,502 per ounce after it lost $5 during the day.  On the other side, silver prices also remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.
