ISLAMABAD: Despite downward sentiments in the international market, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold remained constant without any change at Rs.214,300 in the local market on Monday,
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats and 10 grams of 22 karats gold also observed no change and remained stagnant at Rs.183,728 and Rs.168,416 respectively, while the per tola and ten-gram silver were traded at the same rate of Rs.2,600 and 2,229.08 respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Unlike the local bullion market, the rates for the precious metal in the international market went down by $2 to settle at $2,043 per ounce against the previous price of $.2,045 per ounce.
During the last two weeks, the price of yellow metal in the international market went down by more than $30 per ounce due to the delay in the rate cut till April 2024. The price of the yellow metal in the local market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.
