ISLAMABAD: The per tola price of 24 karat gold continued the upward spree in Pakistan as on Saturday, it further witnessed an increase by Rs. 300 to settle at Rs. 215,300 compared to Rs. 215,000 on the last day. On Friday, the Price in the local market went up by Rs 1300 per tola.
Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went up by Rs. 257 to close at Rs.184,585 from its last day price of Rs.184,328 whereas the rates for the 10 grams of the 22 karats of the yellow plate increased to Rs.169,203 its previous Price of Rs. 168,976.
Meanwhile, like the last day, rates for the per tola and ten grams of the white plate (Silver) experienced no change and remained constant at Rs. 2,600 and Rs. 2,2229.08, respectively.
Gold Price in International Market
Meanwhile, the pullback momentum continued in the international market, and after a surge of $13 on Friday, its Price went up further by $5 to settle at $2,050 per ounce from the last day’s rates of $.2,045.
Earlier on Wednesday and Thursday, the Price of gold in the international market went down by a significant $35 per ounce; however, the last two days pulled back the momentum.
The Price for the yellow metal in the local bullion market is usually affected by the Price in the international market. In the last couple of days recorded a continuous decrease
in the international market, affecting the domestic bullion market except the last two days.
