Gold Price up by Rs 400 to Settle at Rs 217,600 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: Like the last day, the per tola price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 400 and was available in the market at Rs 217,600 compared to Rs 217,200 last day.

Meanwhile, as per details received from All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association the rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went up by Rs 343 to close at Rs 186,557 from its last day price of Rs 186,214,  whereas the rates for the 10 grams of 22 karats of the yellow plate increased to Rs 171,011 from its previous price of Rs 170,696.

Like the last day, the price of per tola and 10 grams of silver observed no change and remained constant at Rs 2,670 and 2,289.09 respectively.

Gold Price in International Market.

Like the last day, the price of the yellow plate in the international market witnessed an increase by $4 to settle at $2,047 per ounce from its last day price of $.2,043 per ounce. Last day the price went up by $4 per ounce.

The rates of gold in the domestic market mostly influenced by the price in the international market and sometime due to the change in value of local currency. Last two days witnessed slight increase in the rates of gold in the international market, affecting the local bullion market.
