Gold Price Up by Rs.800 to Settle at Rs.213,200 Per Tola

ISLAMABAD: After an increase of Rs 1300 last day, the per tola price of 24 karats of gold went up for the second consecutive day as on Saturday it observed an increase by Rs.800 to settle at Rs.213,200 on Saturday against its sale at Rs. 212,400 last day. 

Meanwhile, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, rates for the 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal went up by Rs.686 to close at Rs.182,785 from its previous day price of Rs.182,099 while the prices of 10 grams of the 22 karats of gold increased to Rs.167,553 from the last day rates of Rs. 166,924. 

Unlike the yellow metal, rates for the per tola silver went down by Rs.30 to settle at Rs2,550 whereas that of ten grams of the white plate decreased by Rs.25.72 to close at Rs.2,186.21

Gold Price in International Market

The rates for the yellow plate in the international market went up by $9 to settle at $2,034 from its last-day price of $.2,025.

During the last two weeks, the price for the yellow metal in the international market went down by more than $35 per ounce due to the delay in the rate cut till April 2024, followed by the CPI figures. However, the last two days witnessed an increase in the price at the international level. The Price of gold in the local market is mostly affected by the price in the international market.
