Gold Prices Decrease by Rs.8,800 to Rs. 207,200 per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold per tola witnessed a significant decrease of Rs.8,800 in Pakistan on Monday, selling at Rs.207,200 compared to its previous sale at Rs.216,000.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also declined by Rs.7,544 to Rs.177,641 from Rs.185,185. These figures were reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Decrease in Gold Prices

Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs.162,837 from Rs.169,753, indicating a drop of Rs.6,916.

In terms of silver, the price per tola declined by Rs.50 to reach Rs.2,500, while the price of ten grams of silver went down by Rs.42.87 to Rs.2,143.34.

Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold experienced a slight increase of $6, rising to $1912 from $1906, as reported by the association.

The decrease in gold prices in the local market can be attributed to various factors, including changes in global gold rates, fluctuations in currency exchange rates, and market dynamics. These price adjustments can impact both traders and consumers in the precious metals market.
