Gold Prices Dip by Rs.500 to Rs.256,800 per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat gold experienced a decline of Rs.500 per tola in Pakistan on Saturday, settling at Rs.256,800 compared to Rs.257,300 on the previous trading day. This adjustment in the local gold market aligns with recent shifts observed in international gold prices.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs.429, bringing it down to Rs.220,165 from Rs.220,593. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs.201,817 from Rs.202,210.

Despite the fluctuations in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged. Per tola silver continued to be priced at Rs.2,900, while the price for 10 grams of silver was consistent at Rs.2,486.28.

In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $15, moving from $2,458 to $2,443 per ounce. This global price shift has influenced local market trends, contributing to the reduction in gold rates domestically.
