ISLAMABAD: Amid the upward trend in the international market, gold rates in Pakistan witnessed a big single-day increase on Sunday, while the local currency is sliding to an all-time low.
The price of gold went up by about 10,000 rupees per tola in a couple of days.
The price of the yellow metal for a single tola of twenty-four-karat is Rs242,600.
24-karat gold rate
Likewise, the gold rate for 24-karat was witnessed at 207,990 rupees per 10 grams.
It is to be noted that the gold rates in the country fluctuate several times as per the international market, so the rates are never fixed.
