ISLAMABAD: Despite the rise in gold prices in the global market, a big drop in the rates of the precious metal was recorded in Pakistan.
The price of an ounce of gold in the international market increased by 13 dollars to 1885 dollars, while in Pakistan, the price of gold per tola decreased by 7 thousand 800 rupees.
The price of 10 grams of gold dropped by 6 thousand 684 rupees.
Gold prices per tola
Due to decreased prices, the local gold market witnessed a price of 197,200 rupees per tola for gold and 169,700 rupees per 10 grams of gold.
