KARACHI: Gold rates in Pakistan continued to rise on Friday, with an increase of Rs 200 per tola, bringing gold rate at Rs. 262,000. Similarly, the 10-gram gold price rose by Rs172, reaching Rs224,623, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold prices stood at Rs261,800 after an increase of Rs800. Conversely, international gold prices fell on Friday. According to the APGJSA, the international rate was $2,492 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $12 drop during the day. Meanwhile, silver prices remained constant at Rs2,950 per tola.
