ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola experienced a rise of Rs 900, reaching Rs 218,500 compared to its previous value of Rs 217,600 on the last trading day.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 771, now at Rs 187,328, in contrast to its earlier price of Rs 186,557.
All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the rates for 10 grams of 22-carat gold also saw an upward trend, reaching Rs 171,718 from Rs 171,011.
Conversely, the per tola price of silver decreased by Rs 20, settling at Rs 2,650, while the cost of ten grams of silver dropped by Rs 17.15 to Rs 2,271.94.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $13, reaching $2,060 from $2,047, according to the Association’s report. —APP
