ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, the cost of 24-carat gold per tola surged by Rs 700, reaching Rs 216,100, compared to its previous trading day value of Rs 215,400.
Simultaneously, the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold experienced a Rs 600 hike, settling at Rs 185,271 compared to the previous Rs 184,671.
As per the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the rates for 10 grams of 22-carat gold rose to Rs 169,832 from Rs 169,282.
Silver, on the other hand, maintained its stable pricing, with per tola and ten grams priced at Rs 2,600 and Rs 2,229.08, respectively.
The global market also witnessed an increase in gold prices, with a $7 rise to $2,057 from $2,050, as reported by the Association. —APP
