ISLAMABAD: Google is celebrating the Independence Day of Pakistan with a special doodle featuring artwork with Mangoes, the national fruit of Pakistan.
Google also issued a special message on Pakistan’s Independence Day and said, “This Doodle celebrates Pakistan’s Independence Day. On this day in 1947, the nation gained its freedom and sovereignty after centuries of foreign rule.”
It added that Pakistan’s national fruit is featured in today’s artwork! Mangoes have been ingrained in the nation’s culture since ancient times, and ones that grow in Pakistan are known for their amazing flavor as well as texture. They symbolize affection, prosperity, and generosity and are exchanged between family and friends as gifts. The statement added that sweet and soft fruits are also used in various refreshing dishes and beverages across Pakistan.
