Government Firmly Stands by Flood Victims, Bilawal

KARACHI: Foreign Minister and Chairman Pakistan People Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that government is utilizing all available resources to provide relief and rehabilitate flood affected people in the country.

Addressing a news conference in Karachi on Thursday, he said that flood victims will not be left alone in the difficult time.  Government, administration, and civil society are engaged in relief work in the flood-hit areas.

Highlighting the flood relief activities in Sindh, Bilawal said that fifty percent of the water has been drained from the flood-affected areas of the province. Sindh government has decided to provide all possible facilities to the farmers for sowing the next crop.

He also appealed to philanthropists to come forward to help the flood victims.
