ISLAMABAD: Qamar Zaman Kaira, Adviser to Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, said on Monday that Prime Minster Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were working hard to reestablish the positive image of the country at the global level to forge strong bilateral relation with friendly countries.
Addressing a press conference here in Islamabad, Kaira blamed the previous regime had damaged the image of Pakistan at the world level due to its failed diplomatic policies. Still, the current government taking various steps to restore it.
The Advisor further said that due to better diplomacy adopted by the current government, Pakistan was capturing space again at the international level, dented by the previous regime.

He added that a delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) visited the Line of Control (LoC) along the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for the first time in the history of the country, and also the United States acknowledged the stance of Pakistan on Kashmir Issue.
Kaira also blamed Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan believed in politics of violence, vengeance, and chaos, but he would never succeed in his mission.
The Advisor added that the recent terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some parts of Baluchistan intended to halt the progress in the country. Still, they would never succeed in their evil designs.
Qamar Zaman Kaira further added that the country offered many sacrifices for countering terrorism, particularly by the security forces will bear fruits for building a prosperous Pakistan. He also attributed the removal of Pakistan from the gray list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) global to the coalition government’s efforts.
