Governor Sindh, Olympic Gold Medalist Arshad Nadeem Lay Wreaths at Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Sindh province Governor Kamran Tessori and Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem visited the mausoleum of the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay their respects and offer Fateha.

They laid wreaths at the mausoleum and wrote messages in the visitor’s book.

Afterwards, both Governor Tessori and Arshad Nadeem spoke to the media, saying that their visit was to honour the Father of the Nation.

Nadeem, who secured a gold medal for Pakistan in the Paris Olympics, is currently in Karachi and participated in the Independence Day celebrations at the Sindh Governor House on the night of August 14.

During his visit, Nadeem also met with Governor Tessori at the Governor House, where Tessori presented him with a cheque of Rs. 2 million as a reward for his exceptional achievement in the javelin throw at the Paris Olympics.
