RIYADH: The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah is supplied with 400 tons of Zamzam water per day during the season of Hajj, Arab media reported on Thursday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Zamzam water is dispensed into 10,000 containers which are accessible around the mosque, and more 5,000 containers which are used in case of necessities.
More than 530 officials are involved in filling the water containers and transferring them to their designated places around the mosque.
The reports said that seven sites were designated for filling containers at the mosque while three areas were used to cool single-use Zamzam water bottles, 80,000 of which are distributed daily.
