ARAFAT: The General Security Aviation Command, under the Presidency of State Security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has deployed all available resources and ensured maximum readiness to observe the movement of Hajj pilgrims in the holy sites, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.

According to the SPA, with the utilization of aircraft, human personnel, and technical capabilities, the command is dedicated to serving the pilgrims during this Hajj season, 1445 AH.

Continuous aerial patrols have also been scheduled, covering the skies of Makkah and the holy sites, the SPA said. These patrols closely monitor the security situation and the flow of traffic as pilgrims are transported to Mina and Arafat, and during their stay in the holy sites.

Subsequently, the patrols continue to monitor the pilgrims’ movement to Muzdalifah and other holy sites, the SPA reported.  The aerial patrols focus on monitoring the density of pilgrims, leveraging the capabilities and expertise of the air crews. This enables them to closely observe the security situation of the Hajj season and identify any potential disruptions, the SPA reported.
