Heavy Rain Causes Closure of Educational Institutions in Jeddah

Water accumulated on the roads due to heavy rain in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia which led to the closure of Educational Institutions in the city.

According to the details, there has been heavy rain with thunder in Jeddah; an emergency alert was also issued to deal with emergencies in the city. As per Arab media, heavy rains also fell in Najran, Jazan, Aseer, and Al Bahah, some parts of Makkah, and coastal areas including Jeddah, Al-Laith, and Qanfada.

The officials announced that schools and universities in Jeddah would remain closed on Thursday due to the expected weather conditions. The Jeddah Education Directorate announced the suspension of classes in all schools in Jeddah, Rabi, and Khaleesi on Thursday.
