BEIRUT: Iran-backed Hezbollah has said it fired “dozens of rockets” at Israeli positions Friday.

The group said that the strike was in reply to Israeli attacks in the south.

The exchange of firing has been taking place between Hezbollah and Israeli forces on daily basis since October 7.

In a statement, the group said that they attacked “enemy positions… with dozens of rockets”, saying it was “in reply to the enemy’s strikes on civilian homes in South.”

The Israeli military stated that the group launched around 40 rockets from Lebanon.
