BEIRUT: Hezbollah forces launched a series of targeted strikes on Israeli settlements near the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Sunday in response to what they described as aggressive actions by the Israeli military against villages in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s Military Media stated that the group responded to Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese villages, specifically citing incidents in Kfar Kila. “Fighters targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Yir’on settlement, achieving a direct hit with precision weaponry,” the group stated.

Hezbollah retaliated against Israeli aggression in Hula, where fighters reportedly used a heavy Burkan missile to strike the headquarters of the 91st Division in Branit barracks.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah conducted another retaliatory strike against the command headquarters of Al-Sahl Battalion at Beit Hillel Barracks in response to continued Israeli provocations in Houla.

Additionally, Hezbollah struck a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Al-Metula settlement, in response to Israeli actions against southern Lebanese villages, particularly Al-Taybeh.

In Hezbollah’s aerial operations, a squadron of assault drones targeted the command headquarters of the 188th Armored Brigade in Rawiya Barracks. The assault focused on key structures and positions of Israeli officers and soldiers.

Another missile strike targeted the military operator of Beit Hillel Barracks, resulting in significant damage.

Hezbollah claimed these actions as solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and a response to what they termed as Israeli aggression and attacks on Lebanese territory. The group asserted its support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to defending Lebanon’s sovereignty against perceived Israeli incursions.
