Hezbollah Says its Three Fighters Killed in Lebanon

BEIRUT:  Lebanon based group Hezbollah on Monday said that three of its fighters killed in southern Lebanon.

The group in a statement on its Telegram account gave no detail about how the three were killed but added they were martyred on the road to liberate Jerusalem.

According to the security sources they were killed in an Israeli strike on two houses in the village of Kafr Kila.

Hezbollah, an ally of Hamas, has been exchanging fire with Israel across Lebanon’s since the war between Israeli and Hamas started in Gaza on October 7.

The health ministry in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that at least 21,978 Palestinian people, mostly women and children, have been killed in the ongoing Israeli bombardments since October 7.

Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra announced the figure during a televised press conference, revealing an additional 156 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The toll also includes a staggering 57,697 people wounded in Gaza since the start of the Israeli military campaign.

Meanwhile the Israeli military on Monday said it struck a series of targets in Lebanon, including military sites where Hezbollah operates.
