BEIRUT: Lebanon’s Hezbollah group stated that it had launched rockets at intelligence base near Tel Aviv, Israel on Saturday.

AFP cited Hezbollah group statement as reported that at 2:30 AM its fighters “fired a salvo of rockets at the Glilot base of the military intelligence unit near Tel Aviv. Israel and Hezbollah also exchanged cross-border fire for about a year following Hamas’s October 7, attack.

Hezbollah often claims to have fired rockets at Israel and has many times claimed the attacking of Glilot.                 It said that it had also fired rocket salvos on Saturday morning at north of Israel, especially at the city of Safed, another target.

The Israeli army said on Saturday that sirens were activated after the arrival of “suspicious aerial targets” from Lebanon and the targets remained under surveillance in an ongoing strike.
