BEIRUT: Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah launched a targeted attack on an Israeli military intelligence headquarters.

Reports indicate that 62 rockets were fired by Hezbollah towards the Israeli position, with sirens sounding in numerous Israeli settlements.

The Israeli military’s intelligence headquarters bore the brunt of the assault, with 40 rockets reported to have struck the facility. This aggressive move by Hezbollah comes in direct response to the recent assassination of Saleh Al-Arouri, the deputy political leader of Hamas.

In retaliation for the rocket attack, the Israeli regime promptly launched an artillery assault on areas in southern Lebanon, further exacerbating the volatile situation in the region.

It’s essential to note that this exchange of fire adds another layer of complexity to an already tense environment, with both Hezbollah and the Israeli regime engaging in sporadic clashes since the outset of the recent conflict in Gaza.

The ongoing geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East continue to fuel these hostilities, raising concerns about the potential for further escalation and the broader implications for regional stability.
