BEIRUT: Hezbollah has said it would target Indian embassies in the Middle East if India continues supplying arms to Israel.  According to media reports the group says it will target Indian embassies in the region if India continues providing arms to Israel.

The recent reportedly development comes as earlier, Al Jazeera reported that Israel has received Indian weapons amid war in the Gaza Strip.

Cargo vessel Borkum paused off the coast of Spain, near Cartagena, on May 15, where protesters waving Palestinian flags called for an inspection based on suspicions that it carried weapons bound for Israel.

Leftist European Parliament members wrote to Spanish President Pedro Sánchez, urging the ship to be prevented from docking. They claimed that allowing such a ship to dock would be supporting a country “under investigation for genocide against the Palestinian people.” Before Spain could act, the Borkum continued its journey to the Slovenian port of Koper, raising suspicions further.

Documents obtained by Al Jazeera revealed that the Borkum was carrying explosives from India to Israel’s port of Ashdod. The cargo included rocket engines, rockets with explosive charges, and other military components. The documentation indicated a high level of confidentiality, forbidding any mention of IMI Systems or Israel, and suggesting a deeper, covert network of arms supply.

On June 6, in the aftermath of Israel’s striking of a UN shelter at the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, the Quds News Network also released a footage of the remains of a missile dropped by Israel.

Hezbollah Says to Target Indian Embassies in Region if India Continues Supplying Arms to Israel

As the international community grapples with the implications of India’s arms exports to Israel, it is imperative for the world to take steps over the matter as India arms exports contribute to violations of human rights and humanitarian law in Gaza.
